A Recognition from My Peers

I'm pleased to share that I've received the AV Preeminent® rating from Martindale-Hubbell, its highest peer-review rating for legal ability and professional ethics.
I've practiced law for more than thirty years. During that time, I've had the privilege of representing people through some of the most difficult circumstances of their lives. I've tried cases, argued appeals, negotiated settlements, and, more recently, expanded my work into mediation. Along the way, I've learned that a lawyer's reputation is something built over time, one case, one client, and one professional encounter at a time.
This recognition is especially meaningful to me because it comes from my peers. Lawyers are not always inclined to agree with one another. We are, after all, trained to disagree. But there is something particularly gratifying about knowing that those who understand the demands and responsibilities of our profession hold your work in high regard.
I'm grateful to the colleagues who participated in the review process, to the clients who have entrusted me with their cases over the years, and to the many lawyers, judges, and friends who have helped shape my career.
The practice of law has been good to me. I hope, in some measure, I've been good to it.
